Drink and Tuft: Thursday Evening Beginner Workshops

Running out of date night ideas? Wanna do something different for your birthday? Hoping for a fun way to spend more time with Mom, ideally involving wine? We’ve got you! 

Join Tuft the World for a Thursday evening workshop, plus drinks! In this hands-on instructional class, you’ll learn how to use a power tufting machine to create a rug or wall hanging of your own design. We'll cover the basics of setting up a tufting frame and backing cloth, threading and operating tufting machines, and how to cut, glue, and finish a tufted piece. 

Frame, cloth, yarn, drinks, and snacks are included, and participants will take their finished work home following the class. Tuft the World will provide tufting machines for use during the workshop, or you may bring your own.

Space is limited to 10 participants! 

Location: Tuft the World Education Studio, Bok Building, 1901 S 9th Street, Room 501, Philadelphia, PA 19148

Experience Level: Beginner to intermediate

* Should enrollment fall below the minimum number of participants, the workshop will be cancelled prior to the scheduled day. TTW staff will contact you about cancellations 24-48 hours before the scheduled workshop date.*
