Rug

Tuft the World participated in the Design Philadelphia Festival this past October at the Cherry Street Pier!  Over the course of the 12 days of the festival, we tufted over a dozen rugs with the help of festival attendees.

The works, collectively tufted by festival attendees, feature Philadelphia-inspired images  that highlight architecture and design elements of the city, including facades of buildings such as Independence Hall and the iconic Philadelphia rowhome.  This grouping of over a dozen pieces is a unique showcase of the creativity and engagement of the many visitors we had the pleasure of meeting at the Festival.

100% of your purchase proceeds of these tufted works will support three local organizations: The Center's Architecture and Design Education Program, which works to expand access to quality and inclusive design education in Philadelphia for BIPOC students, Rebuilding Together Philadelphia, an organization that provides critical home repairs and improvements for vulnerable homeowners and ACHIEVEability, a West Philadelphia based non profit organization that provides housing support and resources to low income, single parent and homeless families.
