Why Was My Order Cancelled Automatically?

Occasionally an order is cancelled automatically by our fraud detection software. Common causes:

  • The card CVV wasn't entered at checkout
  • A card saved with Shop is out of date
  • The billing address doesn't match the address on file with your card

What to do: make sure your card details and billing address are current and correct, then place the order again. You can also pay with PayPal, which uses different security checks.

Any pending charge is released automatically, though it can take a day or two to clear with your bank.
