Shipping, returns, and warranty at Tuft the World

Shipping

Tuft the World ships from our warehouse in Philadelphia, PA. Most orders are fulfilled within 1–2 business days. Shipping times vary by destination:

  • United States: Typically 3–5 business days via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on the order.
  • Canada: 5–10 business days. Note: Canadian orders cannot be placed through our mobile app — please order through tuftinggun.com.
  • International: 7–21 business days depending on destination country and customs. We ship to over 120 countries worldwide.

You'll receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships.

Does Tuft the World ship internationally?

Yes — we ship to over 120 countries. Most products are available for international shipping, though some large or heavy items may have restrictions. International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties or import fees charged by their country.

Electrical note for international customers: Our AK-I, AK-II, and AK-III machines come with a Type A plug (U.S. standard). Most international customers will need to purchase a universal plug adapter. KRD-I machines come in 110V models only — international customers will need a power converter. The AK5 and Duo machines are compatible with 110v–220v.

Returns and exchanges

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, here's our policy:

  • Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition for a refund or exchange. Please contact support@tufttheworld.com to initiate a return.
  • Non-returnable items include: yarn sample cards, enamel pins, cardboard cones, gift cards, and products tagged as non-returnable. These are marked on the product page.
  • Machines: If your machine arrived damaged or has a defect, please contact us immediately with photos and your order number. We'll work to make it right.

Machine warranty

All tufting machines purchased from Tuft the World come with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturer defects. Under warranty, we'll repair or replace the defective part at no charge.

We also offer an optional Service Warranty ($100), which covers 12 months of unlimited repairs and complimentary domestic return shipping. This is great for tufters who want total peace of mind.

Even outside of warranty, we stock all spare parts for our machines and our support team can walk you through most repairs via email or chat. If the repair is too complex to do at home, you can send your machine to us for a flat-rate repair.
